Marcus was pissed, very pissed, at Malfoy and his lackies, it was their fault he was laying in the hospital wing with his nerves rattled and his head pounding. He was pissed that Harry some how had gotten his hands on a Firebolt after his old broom bit the dust. But what was making him livid was the fact that now he was going to have to go up against that Gryffindor git Wood for the cup. A bunch of what ifs started to flood his mind, what if Potter's broom hadn't smashed into the Whomping Willow? It wouldn't have broke and Gryffindor wouldn't have lost, If Gryffindor hadn't lost he wouldn't have been able to spy on Wood in the shower. and Potter wouldn't have gotten the Firebolt. If Potter didn't get the Firebolt they might not have won today. If the Dementors hadn't shown up Potter's broom wouldn't have been smashed to bits by the Whomping Willow Gryffindor wouldn't have lost, If Gryffindor hadn't lost he wouldn't have been able to spy on Wood in the shower. and he wouldn't have been talked into trying to scare the hell out of scar head. If he hadn't tried to scare the hell out of scar head he wouldn't be in the hospital wing with very rattled nerves a headache and thinking about the next time he could spy on Wood in the shower again Quidditch match. All this because of a bloody broken broom and a bunch of what ifs.
